Horseplayer Scores Big David Soboleski outwitted 117 other horseplayers at Hinsdale Park to score the top prize in the tri-annual OTB Handicapping Challenge on Nov. 6. But the Bellows Falls, VT, player was quick to credit his brother and father, who were also on hand to help him land top prize of $5,900 in the simulated horse race wagering contest.. “It was truly a team effort,” said Soboleski, who along with family members Edward and Paul, each put up $100 apiece to participate in the unique contest format that returned all entry fees to players, for a total prize pool of $11,800.
